M. Jasmine Sweatman
She is also the founding principle of Sweatman Windeyer Consultants, specializing in advising charitable organizations in bequest management and charitable giving.
Her practice focuses exclusively on wills, trust, estate and related tax planning, powers of attorney, and estate administration, as well as resolving disputes involving estates, trusts, guardianships and powers of attorney through litigation and mediation, as well as real estate.
Prior to establishing Sweatman Law Firm in 2006, Jasmine practiced for thirteen (13) years at a top ranking national firm in downtown Toronto where she attained the title of Partner, as well as several years with a leading law firm in the Oakville area. Over the past twenty (20) years, Jasmine has specialized in the areas of estates, trusts, powers of attorney, guardianship litigation, estate administration and planning, as well as alternative dispute resolution. She has appeared before all levels of the Ontario Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Jasmine is a Certified Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law and holds various other professional designations as a trusts and estates practitioner and in the field of elder law.
